What is cosmelan 2?
cosmelan 2 is the home care cream of mesoestetic's cosmelan method. It is used after the professional treatment with cosmelan 1, at a beauty studio or with your dermatologist, and is not intended for use without this prior treatment. Among other ingredients, the cream contains azelaic acid, kojic acid, phytic acid, alpha-arbutin and niacinamide: active ingredients that can influence pigment formation and support a more even-looking complexion. We offer the cosmelan 2 Cream on its own and in the cosmelan Home Pack together with Melan Recovery and Mesoprotech Melan 130 Pigment Control.
How is cosmelan 2 applied?
Apply a thin layer of cosmelan 2 to cleansed skin in the evening and leave the cream on overnight. Thicker layers can cause severe dryness and flaking. How often and how much is set by the plan you receive with your cosmelan treatment. Tingling, itching or a slight burning sensation in the first weeks are normal reactions according to the manufacturer.
During the entire application period and afterwards, use sun protection with at least SPF 50 during the day, for example Mesoprotech Melan 130 Pigment Control. Do not use cosmelan 2 at the same time as glycolic acid products. According to the manufacturer, do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How does the Skinretin retinol system work?
Skinretin combines retinol with bakuchiol and Centella Asiatica. Retinol, a form of vitamin A, can soften the appearance of fine lines and refine the skin texture. There are two strengths: Skinretin 0.3% to get started and for more sensitive skin, and Skinretin 1% for skin that already knows retinol.
Apply Skinretin in the evening to clean, dry skin on the face and neck, leaving out the eye area. Redness, flaking, dryness or a slight burning sensation are normal initial reactions to retinol. Because retinol increases the skin's sensitivity to light, daily sun protection with at least SPF 30 is part of the routine. According to the manufacturer, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
