What is cosmelan and how does it work?
cosmelan is the world's most widely used method against visible pigment spots - developed by mesoestetic and used in over 80 countries. The method starts with a professional treatment in a practice or clinic. After that comes the home care with cosmelan 2 and the Cosmelan Home Pack: the actives it contains (including ascorbic acid, arbutin, niacinamide) slow the production of melanin - the pigment responsible for dark spots - and can thereby visibly lighten existing pigment spots. With us you get the home-care products directly. You discuss the start of the treatment with your dermatologist or skincare institute.
Which product lines does mesoestetic have and what can I achieve with them?
mesoestetic has three clear focuses. How does the Skinretin retinol system work?
Skinretin is mesoestetic's approach to well-tolerated retinol. The special feature: pure retinol is combined with bakuchiol and a postbiotic complex, so that the typical side effects (dryness, flaking, redness) turn out noticeably milder than with pure retinol alone. Start with Skinretin 0.3% on two to three evenings a week. In a manufacturer study, users reported visibly firmer and more elastic skin after 28 days. The result: you get the benefits of retinol - smoother skin texture, fewer fine lines, a more even complexion - without the aggressive introductory phase that puts many people off retinol.
