About Cyspera by Scientis
Cyspera is the specialist range from the Swiss company Scientis - developed for a single purpose: to lighten visible pigment spots. As a cysteamine cream, Cyspera uses its own mechanism of action, which differs from retinol, vitamin C, or tranexamic acid, so it doesn't replace other treatments but rather complements them. Especially for stubborn pigment spots, Cyspera can make a difference. Application is incredibly simple: 15 minutes in the morning as a mask on unwashed skin, rinse off, then your normal routine. Since Cyspera is removed after a short application time, it can be easily worn alongside a coordinated basic skincare like ZO Skin Health. And because pigment spots quickly reappear with sun exposure, consistent protection is essential, for example, with tinted mineral protection from Colorescience. Cyspera is suitable for face and body, including the intimate area. We are an authorized Cyspera specialist dealer in Germany with personal consultation from our team.
Dr. med. Niels Freitag was one of the first specialist dealers in Germany to include Cyspera in his product range. In our cosmetic studio in Cologne, we particularly use Cyspera for clients who want to avoid hydroquinone or for whom other lightening products have not been sufficiently effective.

Target hyperpigmentation - but where to start?
Pigmentation spots have various causes: sun, hormones, skin aging. Cyspera complements your existing skincare because it uses its own mechanism of action, which works independently of other active ingredients. Our AI skin analysis assesses your skin type and shows you whether Cyspera is the right step or what else suits you. Free of charge, no appointment needed.
Cyspera can be ideally combined with ZO Skin Health, Colorescience, or mesoestetic. Our team will advise you personally - via video, phone, or chat.
Frequently asked questions about Cyspera
What is Cyspera and how does it work?
Cyspera is based on Cysteamine - a natural antioxidant that naturally regulates melanin production. Unlike retinol or vitamin C, cysteamine works through its own mechanism of action, so you can easily combine Cyspera with your existing skincare routine - it doesn't compete with your other products, but complements them. The application only takes 15 minutes as a mask on unwashed skin, then rinse off and continue with your normal routine. In clinical studies, 92% of users reported a visible improvement in stubborn dark spots.
Which Cyspera product is right for me?
Cyspera offers three products, and the choice is simple. Cyspera Intensive (199 EUR) is the brightening cream - the core product. The Cyspera Intensive System (329 EUR) additionally contains Neutralize (soothes the skin after the mask) and Boost (enhances the results). If you are new to Cyspera, we recommend the system because Neutralize makes the transition into your daily routine smoother. And Cyspera Neutralize (39 EUR) is also available individually for repurchase when the bottle from the system is empty.
How do I apply Cyspera correctly?
In the morning, on unwashed skin - this is important because the active ingredient works best on the natural skin film. Apply one pump thinly to the entire face (or affected body area). Leave on for 15 minutes, then wash off with Cyspera Neutralize or a mild cleanser. Afterwards, you can start your normal skincare routine as if nothing happened. For sensitive skin: Start with 5 minutes and gradually increase to 15 minutes. The intensive phase lasts 16 weeks (daily), after which two applications per week are sufficient.
Can I use Cyspera on my body or in the intimate area?
Yes, Cyspera is suitable not only for the face, but also for hyperpigmentation on the body, décolletage, and intimate areas. Especially in the intimate area, there are hardly any comparable products that are gentle enough and effective at the same time. The application is identical: apply thinly, leave on for 15 minutes, rinse off. Here too, for sensitive areas, start with 5 minutes and gradually increase. Afterwards, apply a sunscreen with high SPF to all areas exposed to the sun.
How long does it take for Cyspera to work?
The first visible changes with Cyspera usually appear after 4 to 6 weeks of consistent use. Significant results can be expected after 12 to 16 weeks.
The background: The keratinocyte cycle lasts approximately 6 weeks. Cyspera requires several of these cycles to be able to influence pigment formation in the deeper skin layers. Those who discontinue use after 4 weeks will not see the actual effect.
