The most important ingredients

Vitamin C

The most important water-soluble antioxidant of the skin.

Function: Can brighten the complexion, support resilience, ease pigment spots and protect from UV damage.

Glycolic acid

The smallest fruit acid (AHA) - can penetrate especially deep into the skin and loosen dead cells.

Function: Can accelerate skin renewal, ease pigment spots and refine skin texture.

Cysteamine

A molecule produced by the body that occurs in every human cell and is among the most effective actives against pigment spots.

Function: Can regulate pigment formation via several pathways at once and visibly ease dark spots.

Vitamin E

Fat-soluble antioxidant - protects the cell membranes and works synergistically with vitamin C.

Function: Can neutralise free radicals, strengthen the skin barrier and boost the effect of vitamin C.

Application

Evening apply to dry, unwashed skin - only on areas with pigmentation changes. Leave on for 15 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with water and a mild cleanser.

Then apply your usual moisturising care. Always use sunscreen with at least SPF 50 during the day.

Important: Do not apply to freshly cleansed or damp skin. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding - please consult your doctor beforehand.

Frequently asked questions

What is cysteamine and why is it special?

Cysteamine (cysteamine HCl) is a natural component of your skin cells - so it already exists in your body. It inhibits melanin production on five pathways simultaneously, making it more effective than most conventional brighteners such as hydroquinone or kojic acid.

Just 15 minutes a day - is that really enough?

Yes. That is the Cyspera principle: short contact time. You apply the Intensive, leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it off. Brief and targeted is more effective than leaving it on all night - and it reduces the risk of irritation.

Can I use Cyspera Intensive on its own?

Yes. Cyspera Intensive is available as a standalone product and is the core element of the Cyspera routine. You apply it for 15 minutes and rinse it off - Cyspera Neutralize is recommended but not mandatory if you do not have it yet.

Can I use Cyspera Intensive on sensitive skin?

Yes, but with care. Cysteamine does not irritate in the way conventional brighteners or aggressive acids do. The system works because of the short contact time. If your skin is very reactive, start with every other day and observe the reaction.

How do I combine Cyspera with other brightening actives?

We do not recommend it. Cysteamine already blocks melanin on five pathways - additional brighteners (vitamin C, kojic acid, niacinamide) do not increase the effect, they increase the irritation load. Use Cyspera on its own and support it with SPF 50.

About the brand

Cyspera specialises in stubborn pigment spots and an uneven complexion. The products do without hydroquinone, cortisone and retinoic acid and are therefore particularly well tolerated. Practical: Cyspera is applied in the morning like a short mask and washed off after 15 minutes. Afterwards, you apply your usual routine from ZO Skin Health, iS Clinical or mesoestetic directly on top - Cyspera can be combined with all of our brands.
