We are a shop for selected medical skincare based in Cologne. Led by Dr. med. Niels Freitag, a trainer for ZO Skin Health, who established the concept from 2017, first in his own skincare studio and then in online retail. Today we advise customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, carry brands like iS Clinical, Colorescience, mesoestetic and Cyspera, and are among the largest providers in the German-speaking region for ZO Skin Health.

Our mission is to be truly helpful. Here you shouldn't have to guess whether something works, whether it suits your skin, whether you need it today or only in ten years. We consider leaving you alone with that question a failure to help. For ZO Skin Health we're among the largest providers in the German-speaking region, with a direct line to the manufacturer, regular training and a lot of practical experience in application. Each of our brands stands on its own, with its own focus.

How it all began
A short personal note from me:
When I founded my own skincare studio in Hürth in 2017, that was initially a business decision. Professionally I had nothing to do with skincare - I came from anaesthesia. Getting into the subject, I'll admit openly, at times genuinely overwhelmed me. That I would be trained shortly afterwards by probably the most famous dermatologist in the world, I wouldn't have dared to dream.
A friend of mine had a leading position at the time with an American manufacturer of medical skincare that was practically unknown in Germany but internationally among the most renowned: ZO Skin Health. So I had the good fortune, in my very first contact with cosmetics, to get to know the advantages of a medical system of care. I first trained through colleagues in Europe, and in 2018 in person with Dr. Zein Obagi in Beverly Hills. In 2022 we grew considerably, and the studio and practice are now based in Cologne.
Today I'm also active for ZO Skin Health as a trainer and Key Opinion Leader (a kind of brand ambassador) and try to pass my passion for scientifically grounded skincare on to colleagues too.

Why healthy skin should come first
Many people who want to do something for their appearance think first of an injection, a laser, a procedure or even surgery.
Skincare often plays hardly any role in these considerations. Not because they neglect their skin - most even care for it regularly. But because they no longer know what else to do. The focus has shifted: away from what works, towards what the skin even tolerates.
Yet the skin can do more than people give it credit for. Our cells produce collagen, elastin and also hyaluronic acid themselves - provided the environment is right.
Healthy skin here doesn't just mean: having no disease. Healthy means: free of what many don't even notice. Chronic inflammation, for example, or a disturbed barrier.
If these factors aren't recognised, the skin can't show its potential. But if they're remedied, what many actually wish for comes to light: beautiful skin. Because the cells do again what they can. No matter when you start.
