Most people apply too little sunscreen, and under make-up it gets even less. Make-up with SPF does not replace sunscreen, because the amount you apply is too small for the stated value. Worn over sunscreen, it adds to it.

Can you use sun protection as a moisturiser?
Sun protection and moisturiser do different jobs, so both belong in your morning routine. For oily skin, a light cream underneath is enough. The reverse is also true: a day cream without a stated sun protection factor does not protect against UV radiation.
