Multi-spectrum protection

This product protects against UVA, UVB and high-energy visible light (blue light). Some formulas also provide infrared-A protection via antioxidant actives.

Function: Sun protection

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3 - one of the most versatile actives, working on pores, pigment and the skin barrier.

Function: Can visually minimise pores, ease pigment spots, strengthen the skin barrier and ease redness.

Allantoin

Plant-based active from the comfrey root that can soothe the skin and support cell renewal.

Function: Can ease irritation and redness, supports regeneration and makes the skin softer.

Glycerin

One of the best-researched humectants - draws water from the air and binds it in the skin.

Function: Can strengthen the skin barrier, bind moisture and relieve feelings of tightness.

Application

Morning as the last step of your skincare routine generously apply to face and neck. The lightly tinted formula gives a warm, bronzed glow.

Can be worn alone or under make-up. Reapply every 2 hours in direct sunlight. Water resistant for approx. 40 minutes.

Does the bronze tint replace a bronzer?

Natural, lightweight bronzing effect with full 4-in-1 protection. More subtle than a bronzer, but enough to give your complexion a sun-kissed glow without extra product.

How natural does the bronze tint look - is the pigment noticeable?

The bronze tint is subtle, not dramatic. It looks more like a light tan than a bronzer. On very fair skin it reads as a touch of warmth, on medium skin it's nearly invisible.

Why 100% mineral - does it make a difference for SPF?

Pure mineral means zinc oxide and titanium dioxide as filters instead of chemical absorbers. Mineral filters reflect UV rays off the skin surface rather than absorbing them - that is why they are particularly well tolerated, including on sensitive and reactive skin.

Does Face Shield Bronze suit all skin types or is it better for normal/dry skin?

The mineral base and bisabolol are gentle and universally suitable. For oily or combination skin it can feel slightly richer - in that case apply a thin layer or combine with a mattifying primer.

Should I use Bronze on holiday or also at home?

Both work well. On holiday Bronze is ideal because the cosmetic tan completes the look and SPF 50 does its job simultaneously. At home the subtle warmth works as an everyday finishing touch without looking made up.

Instructions for use

For external use only. Do not apply to damaged or injured skin. Avoid eye contact; rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if a skin rash develops. Keep out of reach of children. Seek medical advice or contact poison control if swallowed.
Apply generously (2 mg/cm²) and at least 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Avoid direct sun exposure between 11am-4pm. Wear protective clothing, hat and sunglasses.
