It follows the texture, from the lightest to the richest. Light formulas with smaller molecules absorb first; rich textures go on top and would otherwise shield them.

Behind it is always the same pattern. First the preparation: cleansing, exfoliating, toning. Then the active ingredients in the order given. In the morning, sun protection comes last; in the evening, it is left out.

  1. 10% Vitamin C Self-Activating: a small amount as the last serum on face and neck.
  2. Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50: apply generously as the last step; when in the sun, reapply every one to two hours.
