Application

Morning as the last step of your skincare routine generously apply to face and neck. The transparent formula spreads easily.

Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours in direct sunlight.

What can Extreme Protect do that a normal SPF cannot?

Three functions in one: SPF 40 sun protection, moisturising care and protection through extremozymes. Instead of just blocking UV rays it also actively repairs UV damage at DNA level.

What exactly are extremozymes and why do I need them?

Extremozymes are DNA-protecting enzymes - derived from extremophile organisms that survive in harsh environments. These enzymes repair UV-induced DNA damage in skin cells more efficiently than normal cellular enzymes.

Is 'water resistant' really sufficient for sport and water?

Yes, but with limitation. Water resistant means by laboratory definition: 80 minutes in water, then reapply. After swimming, towelling off or intense sweating: always reapply.

The PerfecTint variants - how do they differ from the untinted SPF?

The untinted Extreme Protect SPF 40 is a transparent, mineral sunscreen. The PerfecTint variants add light tinting that evens out the complexion and can replace foundation for some skin types.

Can I wear Extreme Protect SPF 40 under make-up?

Yes, especially the untinted or PerfecTint variant works as a base under foundation. You do not need a separate primer - Extreme Protect provides sun protection and a smooth base for make-up simultaneously.

Instructions for use

For external use only. Do not apply to damaged or injured skin. Avoid eye contact; rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if a skin rash develops. Keep out of reach of children. Seek medical advice or contact poison control if swallowed.
Apply generously (2 mg/cm²) and at least 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Avoid direct sun exposure between 11am-4pm. Wear protective clothing, hat and sunglasses.
Children under 6 months: consult a doctor before use.
