The most important ingredients
The most important water-soluble antioxidant of the skin.
Function: Can brighten the complexion, support resilience, ease pigment spots and protect from UV damage.
Plant-based antioxidant from rice bran and oats - can boost the effectiveness of vitamins C and E.
Function: Can synergistically double the antioxidant effect of vitamins C and E and protect the skin from UV damage.
Fat-soluble antioxidant - protects the cell membranes and works synergistically with vitamin C.

What does the combination of ferulic acid + vitamin C + E deliver?
All three antioxidants together work more powerfully than individually - a scientifically documented synergy effect. Ferulic acid stabilises vitamins C and E, which means their protective and brightening effect lasts longer and penetrates deeper.
Why is ferulic acid so important and what makes it different?
Ferulic acid is a synergist. It stabilises vitamin C (which oxidises easily) and doubles the UV protection of the combined formula. Without ferulic acid, vitamin C serums lose their effectiveness within weeks of opening.
Can I use AOX Ferulic together with another vitamin C serum or would that be too much?
AOX Ferulic IS a vitamin C serum - vitamin C is the main active. If you are already using another C serum, use one instead of both. Layering two C serums does not increase the effect, it increases the irritation load.
How long does the serum last after opening and does it need dark storage?
Vitamin C serums oxidise in air and light. Therefore: darkest, coolest storage (bathroom cabinet is ideal, not the windowsill). After opening, use within 3 to 4 months - if the serum turns orange-brown it has oxidised and loses effectiveness.
In what order: AOX Ferulic, then retinol, then SPF?
Morning: cleanse face → apply AOX Ferulic → leave for 1 minute → moisturiser → SPF 50+.
Evening: cleansing → optionally retinol or other actives → moisturiser. AOX Ferulic is a morning product - the combination of vitamin C and SPF provides maximum daytime protection.
