What makes the Sheald Recovery Balm special?
Three things: menthol for a pleasantly cooling skin sensation, proprietary enzymes and peptides that support the skin, and a semi-occlusive formula that protects without completely sealing the skin.
After which treatments do I use Sheald Recovery Balm?
As protective care after cosmetic treatments such as microneedling, superficial peels or microdermabrasion, or after intensive sun exposure. Also for very dry patches of skin that need intensive care.
How do I apply the Sheald Recovery Balm correctly?
Apply the balm in a thick layer on the affected spot - do not rub, do not spread. Leave it like a mask for 10 to 20 minutes, then gently dab off the excess. Or leave it on overnight for maximum regeneration.
Why is the Sheald Recovery Balm not greasy despite being rich?
That is the formulation: the balm contains ceramides and panthenol that nourish intensively but the texture is semi-occlusive rather than fully occlusive. It protects and nourishes without leaving an oily film.
Can I use the Sheald Recovery Balm without a prior treatment too?
Yes. You can use it at any time as rich protective care for very dry or stressed skin patches, including on hands, lips or elbows - wherever intensive moisture and barrier protection are needed.
