A molecule produced by the body that can bind up to 1,000 times its weight in water.

Why is the serum suitable for sensitive skin?
Because it is formulated at neutral pH 7.0 and avoids irritating substances: no retinol, no acids, no fragrance. The soothing actives (centella asiatica, panthenol) calm the skin instead of stressing it.
Can I combine the serum with any other product?
Yes. Through the neutral pH it does not interfere with any other formulation. Ideal as a soothing intermediate layer between active serums and moisturiser, or as the only serum for very reactive skin.
What distinguishes a soothing from an active serum?
Active serums with retinol, acids or vitamin C can additionally irritate sensitive or irritated skin. The Hydra-Cool Serum does the opposite: it calms, rebuilds moisture and supports the barrier - without exfoliating or stimulating cell turnover.
Does the serum suit an oily skin type given how moisture-focused it is?
Yes, surprisingly. The serum is light and absorbs quickly, it does not make your skin look oily. Hyaluronic acid provides moisture without adding oil - that is particularly good for oily skin that is also dehydrated.
Does the serum help after shaving or on irritated skin?
Yes, those are two of the most common applications. The combination of centella asiatica, panthenol and hyaluronic acid can calm razor burn, redness and reactivity within minutes.
