What does the Brightening Program contain?
The Getting Skin Ready base plus Brightalive Skin Brightener as the core. A complete system where each product prepares or enhances the next step. The exact product contents of the current set are listed in the product details above.
How does this programme differ from individual brightening products?
It is a coordinated system: the cleanser optimally prepares the skin, the toner removes additional barriers for the active ingredients, and Brightalive targets the pigment problem directly. Individual products can also work — but without the coordinated base, Brightalive often achieves weaker results because the skin absorption conditions are not optimised.
Is the programme really free from hydroquinone?
Yes, 100% hydroquinone-free. The programme uses Vitamin C, niacinamide, and peptides as modern alternatives. Hydroquinone is banned in cosmetic products in the EU — all ZO Skin Health products comply with EU cosmetic regulations.
How long do I use the programme before I can switch products?
A minimum of eight to twelve weeks to see meaningful results. Pigmentation changes occur in the deeper layers of the skin — the keratinocyte cycle takes approximately 6 weeks, and 2 cycles are needed for a visible difference. Less time means premature assessment.
Can I use the programme under make-up?
Yes, no problem. The products are lightly formulated and absorb quickly. About five to ten minutes after application, foundation or tinted moisturiser can be applied. Apply SPF 50+ as the last skincare step before make-up.
