What makes the Age Element series special?
The Age Element series from mesoestetic contains biomimetic peptides. That distinguishes it from standard firming lines.
What does four-fold hyaluronic acid mean?
The INCI lists four forms of hyaluronic acid: Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate and Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant - it binds water.
The four forms are structured differently. Together they can supply the skin with moisture at several levels.
How does this cream differ from lifting creams from other brands?
The difference is in the INCI: the cream combines two peptides, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 and Acetyl Dipeptide-1 Cetyl Ester, with four forms of hyaluronic acid. Peptides - short chains of amino acids - can support the skin's elasticity.
It also contains ubiquinone, better known as coenzyme Q10, plus ferulic acid and vitamin E. Squalane and glycerin give a supple skin feel.
Can I wear the Firming Cream under make-up?
Yes, but give it time to absorb. Apply the cream in the morning to cleansed skin on face and neck. Once it has absorbed, follow with your make-up.
The cream is light. If your make-up still slides, use less cream or add a primer in between.
When will I notice a difference?
Right after application your skin feels smoother. This feel lasts as long as the cream is on the skin.
For a firmer skin feel, regular use is what counts: peptides need time. Allow 8 to 12 weeks, morning and/or evening.
