Why two different exfoliants?

Because they work differently: the Exfoliation Accelerator exfoliates mildly and daily, while the Enzymatic Peel goes deeper once or twice a week. Together they keep the skin fresh without overwhelming it.

Can I use both on the same day?

No, deliberately not. Using both on the same day would over-exfoliate the skin. Use the Exfoliation Accelerator in the morning and the Enzymatic Peel on one to two other evenings.

Do I need to wear sunscreen with it?

Yes, definitely. Fruit acids make the skin more sensitive to the sun. Daily sunscreen in the morning is a must, so the fresh skin stays protected.

How to use

How to use the set

The list below is also the order of application. Stick to it, it is part of how the set works.

It follows the texture, from the lightest to the richest. Light formulas with smaller molecules absorb first; rich textures go on top and would otherwise shield them.

Behind it is always the same pattern. First the preparation: cleansing, exfoliating, toning. Then the active ingredients in the order given. In the morning, sun protection comes last; in the evening, it is left out.

Morning

  1. Exfoliation Accelerator (two to three times a week, to start with): a small amount onto cleansed skin.

Evening (once or twice a week, on other days):

  1. Enzymatic Peel: apply a thin layer to cleansed skin and leave on for one to three hours or overnight.

Do not use both peels on the same day. Always apply sun protection during the day, fruit acids make the skin more sensitive to the sun.

Notes on application

Contains AHA acids (glycolic acid) and may make the skin more photosensitive.
Contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) which may increase skin photosensitivity. Use sunscreen, limit sun exposure and wear protective clothing - during use and for one week afterwards.
Contains small amounts of vitamin A compounds (retinyl palmitate). Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Daytime sunscreen with at least SPF 30 recommended. For external use only.
