What does the Aggressive Anti-Aging Program contain?
Six coordinated products: Hydrating Cleanser (60 ml), Exfoliating Polish (16.2 g), Complexion Renewal Pads (30 pcs.), Daily Power Defense (30 ml), Radical Night Repair with 1% retinol (30 ml) and Renewal Crème (50 ml).
The program follows the ZO Skin Health three-step approach: first prepare the skin (Getting Skin Ready), then correct and protect. Each product has a clear task in this order.
Who is this program intended for - and who not?
For everyone who wants to tackle visible skin ageing consistently and is ready to work with high-dose retinol (1%). The Oleosome technology releases the retinol in a time-delayed way through the night, so that tolerability is better despite the high concentration.
Not suitable for retinol beginners, pregnant or breastfeeding women. For them there is the Anti-Aging Program without retinol.
Why is sun protection so important with this program?
The program contains highly concentrated retinol (1%) and chemical exfoliants (glycolic acid, salicylic acid). These substances make the skin light-sensitive - it reacts more quickly to the sun. Without daily SPF 30+, your skin turns red, burns more easily and can develop new pigment spots.
The sun would undo the program's results within a few weeks. The mineral ZO Skin Health Sunscreen SPF 50 is the perfect addition because it also filters blue light (HEV) from screens.
After how many weeks will I see first results?
Most users notice finer lines and a firmer-looking complexion after 4-6 weeks. Deep wrinkles and strong pigment spots need 8-12 weeks. The retinol in the Radical Night Repair renews the skin cells systematically - it is not a fast process, but a lasting one.
Important: the first week can bring redness and slight flaking. This is normal and disappears as your skin gets used to the retinol. Many start with 2-3 times a week instead of daily.
Can I use the program during pregnancy?
No. The retinol in the program is a retinoid - it is converted by the body into vitamin A. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, retinol should be avoided, as high amounts of vitamin A can increase the developmental risk.
Alternative: switch to the Anti-Aging Program without retinol. It uses growth factors instead of retinol for skin improvement and is completely safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
