The most important ingredients
This product protects against UVA, UVB and high-energy visible light (blue light). Some formulas also provide infrared-A protection via antioxidant actives.

Why does this sunscreen contain natural melanin?
The natural melanin additionally protects against HEV light (blue light) from screens and LEDs. While UVA/UVB filters guard against sunburn and ageing damage, the melanin blocks invisible blue light radiation, so that your skin is comprehensively protected against modern radiation exposure.
The Triple-Spectrum Protection system means: UVA (skin ageing), UVB (sunburn) and HEV (blue light) are all covered. Especially important if you sit at a screen a lot.
Can I apply this sunscreen over serums and creams?
Yes, that is actually ideal. The Daily Sheer is designed as the last step in the morning and sits perfectly over serums, toner and moisturisers. The non-greasy, fast-drying finish means you don't get a greasy shine when you're out and about.
Application order: cleanser → toner → serum → cream → Daily Sheer (wait until it has dried). The matte finish still lets you look natural, so that the sunscreen doesn't look like a mask.
Is this sunscreen really water- and sweat-resistant?
Yes, the Daily Sheer is water- and sweat-resistant - meaning it holds up to 40 minutes during sport or in water. This is important for reliable protection, whether you swim or train.
After bathing you should reapply. With intense everyday sweating, one reapplication during the day is enough. That is why there is also the Sunscreen + Powder - for convenient reapplication over make-up without smudging.
Does this SPF 50 contain retinol - can I use it in the morning?
Yes, the sunscreen contains a mild vitamin A derivative (retinyl palmitate), but in the morning that is not a problem. Vitamin A and vitamin E are stabilised and act as antioxidants against free radicals that arise from UV radiation.
You should still wear sunscreen in the morning - the amount of vitamin A here is low-dosed and is protected by the antioxidants and the UV filter. This makes this sunscreen ideal for daily anti-ageing protection, so that you prevent signs of ageing while protecting your skin.
