The most important ingredients
This product protects against UVA, UVB and high-energy visible light (blue light). Some formulas also provide infrared-A protection via antioxidant actives.
Function: Sun protection
A molecule produced by the body that can bind up to 1,000 times its weight in water.
Function: Can intensively supply the skin with moisture, plump up fine lines and strengthen the skin barrier.
Gentle fruit acid (AHA) that occurs naturally in the skin - exfoliates and provides moisture at the same time.
Function: Can loosen dead skin cells, regulate the pH value and provide the skin with moisture.
Fat-soluble antioxidant - protects the cell membranes and works synergistically with vitamin C.
Function: Can neutralise free radicals, strengthen the skin barrier and boost the effect of vitamin C.

How can a sunscreen feel watery?
The Water Veil texture feels like water when applied - no greasy film, no heavy feel. Yet full SPF 50+ protection. The formulation uses water-dispersed UV filters that absorb completely without residue.
Why does a sunscreen have anti-ageing actives, and is that necessary?
The Water Veil combines UV filters with hyaluronic acid and lactic acid. That is smart because in the morning you fulfil two functions: sun protection and care. The hyaluronic acid supports moisture while the lactic acid gently exfoliates.
Does the Water Veil work under make-up or does it become greasy?
That is its advantage: ultra-light, watery texture means it absorbs quickly and does not leave a greasy barrier. Make-up sits cleanly on top and does not shift.
Is SPF 50+ sufficient for darker skin types too?
Yes, SPF 50+ is the standard protection for all skin types. Darker skin has natural UV-protective pigments but still develops sun damage, hyperpigmentation and skin ageing from UV. Sun protection is relevant for every skin colour.
Do I need to apply the Water Veil generously or is a thin layer enough?
The test standard requires 2 mg of sunscreen per cm² of skin. That is a fine layer, not too much. With the Water Veil the feeling is pleasant - apply a sufficient amount so that the face is evenly covered. Rather a little more than too little.
