Retinol accelerates cell renewal and can temporarily make the skin drier and more sensitive. An overly aggressive cleanser strips the skin barrier further — which amplifies the retinol reaction. Hydrating Cleanser is specifically formulated for this scenario: urea (5 %) binds moisture in the skin during cleansing, and panthenol soothes the skin. The result is a gentler retinol experience with less peeling and fewer redness flare-ups.
Why is Hydrating Cleanser better than a normal shower gel?
