What can this set do that the standard Brightening Program cannot?
It can address pigmentation and wrinkles simultaneously. Brightalive for brightening, Wrinkle + Texture Repair for texture and deeper lines. If you only have pigmentation without texture issues, the standard Brightening Program is sufficient.
How do I know I need the Texture Kit and not just the standard programme?
The Texture Kit is for you if you not only have pigmentation but also fine to moderate lines and an uneven skin texture (enlarged pores, rough surface, post-acne marks). If your main concern is only pigmentation, the standard programme is more targeted.
Do I need to use the retinol from day 1, or can I start with Brightalive?
Start the retinol product with two to three evenings a week and increase as tolerated up to daily use. The retinol in Wrinkle + Texture Repair is for experienced retinol users — not for beginners. Increasing gradually keeps redness and flaking low.
How do I combine this with my existing routine?
The kit is a complete programme — it replaces your old routine, it does not supplement it. You need: 1. Morning: Cleanser, toner (from the kit), Brightalive, SPF 50+. 2. Evening: Cleanser, toner, Wrinkle + Texture Repair (2 to 3 x per week at first, then increase as tolerated), moisturiser. The rest of your previous routine falls away.
How do I know if the retinol is too aggressive for my skin?
Mild flaking and redness in the first week are normal. If you experience burning, persistent redness or open skin: use the retinol product less often, for example two to three times a week, or use less product, use a richer moisturiser, and avoid additional exfoliants. If symptoms persist, discontinue temporarily and consult a specialist.
