What makes the Age Element series special?
The Age Element series from mesoestetic contains extremozymes and biomimetic peptides. That distinguishes it from standard firming lines. Additionally the Firming Cream contains DMAE - a molecule that visibly tightens the skin within minutes.
What is DMAE and why does it firm skin?
DMAE (dimethylaminoethanol) is a molecule that stimulates acetylcholine production in your skin. Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter that causes muscles to tense. With more acetylcholine your facial muscles tighten slightly, which firms the skin contour.
How does this cream differ from lifting creams from other brands?
Many lifting creams rely only on polymers (plastic molecules) that give a superficial tightness sensation but do not actually change anything in the skin. The DMAE in Age Element works through a biological mechanism - not a film effect.
Can I wear the Firming Cream under make-up?
Yes, but give it 5 to 10 minutes. DMAE needs a moment to tighten the skin muscles so your contour looks smooth before you apply make-up.
How long does the lifting effect last?
DMAE works within minutes - the immediate effect is visible as long as the product is on the skin. After cleansing it fades. The long-term structural effect (through extremozymes and peptides) develops over weeks with regular use.
