Dual Action Scrub

Two principles of action: the jojoba ester beads exfoliate mechanically, the salicylic acid dissolves blockages in the pores chemically.

Important: jojoba esters are round - unlike the sharp-edged particles in cheap scrubs (e.g. apricot kernel) that can cause micro-injuries.

Jojoba esters are spherical and even - they roll over the skin and gently remove dead cells. Apricot kernel shells, on the other hand, are sharp-edged and can cause microscopically small scratches, so that your skin is irritated or damaged.

The Dual Action Scrub uses these round jojoba esters combined with salicylic acid (chemical exfoliation). This is the perfect duo: the physical component visibly removes dead cells, the chemical one dissolves pore blockages, so that the skin looks smooth and clear - without injuries.

2 to 3 times a week is ideal. Not daily, because physical exfoliation can weaken the skin barrier if used too often. 2-3 times is enough to remove dead cells and clarify pores.

You can use the scrub instead of the Exfoliating Polish (which is also physical, but with magnesium crystals). If you already work with the Exfoliating Cleanser (with salicylic acid) in the morning, one application of the scrub a week is enough, so that you don't over-exfoliate.

Conditionally. It is milder than other mechanical scrubs, but still not ideal for very sensitive or inflamed skin. The combination of physical and chemical exfoliation is too intensive with rosacea or acute acne.

For sensitive skin I would recommend the Enzymatic Peel - it has zero mechanical friction and works only with papain and bromelain enzymes. If you try the scrub, test it once first and observe for 24 hours, so that you know how your skin reacts.

No, only in the evening. The double exfoliation (mechanical + chemical) plus actives like tea tree oil make the skin somewhat more sensitive to environmental influences and UV radiation in the evening.

In the morning you use the Exfoliating Cleanser instead (gentler, daily exfoliation) and apply sunscreen immediately. This way you combine intensive care in the evening with daily exfoliation in the morning, so that your skin stays consistently clear - but not overwhelmed.
