Bronzing or Brightening Primer?

Bronzing: warm, sun-kissed base tone. Brightening: luminous, fresh base tone. Both with SPF 20. Bronzing suits naturally darker or olive skin tones and gives a healthy, sun-kissed glow. Brightening suits light to medium skin tones and corrects dull or fatigued complexions.

When should I choose Brightening instead of Bronzing?

Brightening is your primer when your complexion looks tired, dull, or grey. The yellow tone counterbalances grey or sallow skin tones — the skin looks fresher and more awake immediately.

Does the primer really help against a dull complexion?

Yes, but optically — not biologically. The yellow pigments neutralise dull, greyish undertones. The effect is cosmetic and immediate, like colour correction. For long-term improvement of skin radiance, a Vitamin C serum (e.g. Illuminating AOX Serum) is the biological approach.

Can I wear the primer under all foundations?

Almost all, yes. The lightweight, whipped texture is compatible with cream, fluid, and powder foundations. The ZO Skin Health peptide formula under make-up is not a problem — no peeling or interference with finish.

Is the primer also suitable for combination skin?

Yes. The primer with glycerin and oat beta-glucan moisturises dry areas, while zinc oxide and oat extract control oiliness in the T-zone. Suitable for mixed skin types.

Instructions for use

For external use only. Do not apply to damaged or injured skin. Avoid eye contact; rinse with water if contact occurs. Discontinue use and consult a doctor if a skin rash develops. Keep out of reach of children. Seek medical advice or contact poison control if swallowed.
Apply generously (2 mg/cm²) and at least 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2 hours, especially after swimming or sweating. Avoid direct sun exposure between 11am-4pm. Wear protective clothing, hat and sunglasses.
